Note | Of Lancaster, Mass. and Willington, Connecticut. William and Martha were admitted to membership in the First Church at Lancaster July 26, 1730. They were living there as late as 1742. On Nov. 28, 159 they were both admitted to full communion in the church at willington, Conn. He died before 1790, probably in Willington. Only one child is recorded in Lancaster births. Beer's Commemorative Biographical Record of Tolland and Windham Counties of Connecticut has an interesting account of this family. William Glazier is said to have been a surveyor and to have surveyed the Gov. Walcott Highway from Willington to ashford, Conn. His descendants settled in Vermont. The New England Registers Nos. 56 and 67 have data on this family. |
