Of Lancaster and Stirling, Massachusetts. He served in the American Revolution in Capt. Ebenezer Newell's Co., to Providence, and North Kingston, R>I> in 17777. Also, in Capt. Nathan Fisher's Co. for service in R.I. Census 1790: 1-1-3. The Annals of Lancaster states that he served in Col. Nathaniel Wade's regiment, serving in Rhode Island during 1778 in Capt. Edenezer Belknap, Capt. Nathan Fisher and Capt. Elisha Jackson's regiments.
