Note

Oliver was a carpenter by trade and probably lived at one time in Oakham as the Census of 1790 has the following: "Oliver Glazier, Oakham, Mass., 1-3-2." He served in the American Revolution when he was only seventeen years old. The "Hasting's Memorial" has much data on his descendants.

Children birth records from Boylston, Mass. Records.

The following record very likely refers to the same soldier: Oliver Glazier, Lancaster List of men raised for six months service and returned by Brig. Gen. Patersen as having passed muster in a return dated Camp Teteway Oct. 25, 1780.

Reference: Same volume, p. 486. Also pp. 159, 172, annals of Lancaster Mass.
