Note

Born 7 miles east of Greeley, Greeley, Nebraska in a sod house, North of Highway 56.. He was the last surving member of his family. He moved to Greeley in 1944. He lived his entire life in Greeley County: a parishioner of the Church of the Visitation at O'Connor from birth until 1943; and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Greeley from 1943 until his death in 1971.

After marriage, they lived on the site of Paddy's birth, where Michael O'Gorman had built a two=story home in 1898. The lumber for this dwelling cost $200.00 and the carpenter labor was $50.00. The house stood for approximately 90 years, when a speculator bought the farm and took down all the buildings in order to install a pivot for irrigation.

Paddy often told about his assistance in the construction of the present St. Michael's Church in Spalding in 1914, where his parents were then parishioners.

To this union of Paddy and Agnes O'Gorman, seven children were born, one son and six daughters, and they were raised on this farm. They moved to Greeley in 1943. Paddy died in 1984. both are buried at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
