FHL Film #0991192. Marriage of daughter Elizabeth Ker shows her father as a witness and identified as a Minister in Raven. M.A. Fourth son of Rev. Alexander Ker, M.A., Minister of Grange Rathven - Andrew Ker, 1723. Aberdeen Genealogies, p. 38. Andrew Ker was elected Schoolmaster of Grange, 26 Apr 1691, and continued to teach until September, 1694. He was, in 1701, ordained and inducted into the Parish of Walls and Flotta, Orkney. From which, on 2 March 1704, he was translated to the Second Charge of Kirkwall, the famous Cathefral. On 5 Mar 1706, he was re-translated to Walls and Flotta, bur never inducted, owing to the poverty of the stipend. Finally, on 5 Dec 1722, he was translated to Rathven, Banffshire, where he died on 3 Mar 1751.
