In the household is William a son age 2, born Glasgow, Lanark. Mary is born in Queensferry, Fifeshire. A lodger named Charles Blyth age 15 occupation "Moulder" born Glasgow, Lanark, is in the household. Husband, John, away at time of the census. Film #0104152 Shows Mrs Mary Orrick born at Queensferry, Inverkieth, Fife, Scotland on 2 Mar 1819; Baptised in Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland by Robert McNauaght on 6 Apr 1849 and confirmed 8 Apr 1849 by Thomas Stewart. Have also seen a death date of May 19, 1892 at Richfield, Utah. Mary Cumming's Journal says John Cummings died leaving the widow Elizabeth Nicol and her TWO children Mary and John homeless. Can not find a John in parish records. However did find a sister Christian Cummings, three years older than Mary. |
