Note | Justina Taylor was born in Oleara Co., New York, Apr 14, 1852. Letter from Lillian Booth Griep says born Apr 14, 1852 in Orleans Co. New York. 1852. At the age of 4 she went with her parents to Michigan where Mr. & Mrs. Taylor took a homestead in Cass County. On Dec 26, 1866 she married Jonas G. Booth. Mr Booth was a Civil War veteran who was wounded and had his health considerably impaired as a result of his service to his country. In 1868, 10 years after Minnesota achieved statehood, Mr. & Mrs. Booth came to Todd County and took a homestead in Reynolds township. About 1887 they moved to Long Prairie where Mrs. Booth lived until she died.Temple Patron Notification shows JG Booth endowed 10Jun 1987 and Justina Taylor endowed on 09 Jun 1987--since David and I must have gone together to do this work, it seems to me that the date for the endowment should be the same. Birth:Copy of family Bible record in possession of Sally Griep 2204 Chelsea Road Palos Verdes Estates CA 90274. Death:Same as above. |
