Note

Of Ipswich, Massachusetts, and perhaps the Beamsley Glazier who had a grant of land in 1764 in Hartford, Washington County, New York. He was in the Louisbourg Expedition and was commissioned Captain Aug. 8, 1745, in the 5th Massachusetts Regiment. He was probably the Captain of the 60th Regiment Dec. 25, 1765. See New England Registers vols. 24 and 48.
